I applied online and received a detailed email outlining the entire interview process shortly after. First round is a short assignment that tests your ability to analyze a dataset and present your findings articulately. You have two days to submit but should take ~1 hour to complete. Second round is a phone interview with one of the research analysts. Prepare to discuss your resume and answer some behavioural questions. Third round is a long form assignment that gives you a very good idea of what to expect in the role. You are provided a sample dataset on a company and expected to present your findings in report form. Instructions are clearly laid out for how they evaluate the assignment but don't be afraid to ask any questions to clarify. This round seems to carry the most weight so spend some time on it, you will have 1 week to submit. Fourth round consists of an online interview (normally would be on-site) via Zoom with five team members (research analyst, VP of research, director of research, senior data analyst, founder & CEO). This will consist of a run through of your assignment process, behavioural questions and a small technical case. Final round is a references check, prepare to provide 3 professional contacts. The entire interview process was transparent, timely and informative - definitely one of the best I've been through.
