A good experience where it started with asking my education and background and working experience. Not much introduction about Yokogawa or the job scope of this position given by HR / hiring manager. When I asked deeper question what they are looking for this position, they sound unsure and mention they have a lot of different opening and position. End of the interview, I was asked if I consider a contract position. I think a permanent position/contract position are meant differently to interviewee and should be stated before their job posting. The next day, headhunter said they invite me back for a technical interview. I reflect my concern about contract, and I would like to reject if it is not a permanent position but they said they have open options. I attended the second interview with two technical hiring managers. While I thought it is a second interview for Technology Manager, again after one hour interview, the hiring manager told me they are hiring for Data Scientist. I was shocked as what i presented are not for Data Scientist. Apparently, the hiring managers, HR did not align with headhunter. I think it is quite messy internally. Thanks for learning about Yokogawa.
