About 5 of us applicants sat in a room in their office and waited to be called up for the 1 on 1 interview. When making small talk with the other employees I realized they set the bar very low as one of them just had gotten out of jail for shop lifting (and ended up being hired). I was then called in where I met with 1 of our 2 bosses and he asked me some formal questions then informally transitioned to a conversation. They mainly just want to see your personality and if you're a people person. I was hired on the spot and came back in a few days later in their warehouse for the training. It felt a tad bit deceiving as the interview is the only time you're in the nice corporate office. The office meetings were always in their warehouse location where their furniture is made and your work location is either in BJ's or Home Depot (the locations may have changed since I was employee there).
