Intial Skype Interview which is to save time and costs - standard interview questions and the process was friendly, open and honest.
Next step is face to face interview where company flew me over and again the interview was friendly, open and honest. More focus on HR questions and a brief assessment task to complete.

My experience with the Zalando interview process was quite strange. From the start, it deviated from the norm. Instead of the usual initial call with HR, my first interview was a case study session with two senior employees. We discussed the case study for about half an hour, after which they asked some basic questions.
Two weeks later, I received an email about a second (and final?) interview. The email mentioned that I would be interviewing with a senior I hadn't met before and one of the seniors from the first interview. However, when the interview started, it was actually two different seniors who joined the call, neither of whom were listed in the email.
During this interview, one of the seniors seemed completely uninterested in what I had to say and barely asked any questions, while the other conducted a standard routine interview with basic questions.
At the end of the interview, one of them mentioned that they would make a decision within the next couple of days and that I would receive an answer in 2-3 days. However, it has now been two weeks, and I haven't heard anything back. While I don't mind receiving a negative response, I expected a company of Zalando's stature to at least inform candidates about the outcome of their interview. But, here we are.
