It is little long process but have faith it is very smooth. There are multiple round of interviews and I was aware of what gonna happen in the interview. Overall my experience is awesome with HR and Team member and other interviewers. Summarising Steps Below: 1. Codality challenge related to Node and React 2. Recruiter connect 30 (general QA , Getting to know you and share more details about the roles and responsibilities) Next step 4 interview that happened back to back in the same day. 1. Live Coding( Problem Solving , Pair Programming) Leetcode medium level question 2. General Tech( Mostly related to core JS concept, Browser, Http, Cache etc) 3. System Design ( You need to design the system flow , mostly for an e commerce problem 4. Hiring Manager Interview( Behaviour, Its About you, Your personality , some questions about managing team and how one can be a great team player. Each of the step is depend on previous step. Have patients and believe in yourself, Right thing will come at the right time.

There is a codility challenge with 3 exercises. After that there is an initial screeining by one of the software engineers with technical questions and a coding challenge. If you pass that you get invited to 5 interviews in a row (5h) with a systems design, general tech, coding, cultural fit and engineering manager interviews. After that you get your decision which in my case took over 2 months, really unprofessional

I applied online and they send me an online assessment test and I solved 100/100. Next there was two more interview sessions: First interview session: 3 hours interview: 1. There was 1-1 with Senior Engineer, he asked me about the assessment that I did and then switched to some questions related to javascript and also ask me to solve some questions that are rated to javascript Promise. 2. 1-1 with Engineering Manager and this interview was to presentation about Zalando and over all the team I am applying and a lot of behavioral questions. Second interview sessions was 4 hour long and 4 interview with 5-10 min break: 1. System Design interview and I felt like interviewer was bit not confident and also not engaged on process. Other than that he was super nice and guiding sometimes what I need to do. 2.Checking the general domain knowledge about Javascript and Web. There was a lot of questions. Interviewer was incredibly nice and giving minimal help to me get right answer. Later asked how do I feel about this interview .... 3. Interview with HR and he also ask some behavioral questions and my motivation to apply Zalando. 4.Last interview was also about the assignment that I did and I felt like he was not confident. But general process was good. and at the end he asked simple question LeetCode easy level.
