      Colloquio

Worst interview of my life! I'm glad that I did not join this place. I had one of the most horrifying, traumatizing, and harassing interview experiences. The management is arrogant (don't question me attitude), immature, confused, and only interested in throwing their weight around. I received a call from their HR for an interview. After the first round, I was given a positive impression and was told that I would be contacted within a day to discuss further joining formalities. After two days and repeated follow-ups (BTW, they don't have the courtesy to respond to calls), HR sends a message that I did not clear the round. I was baffled cause the initial response was positive. A month later, HR calls again saying that I'd been shortlisted. I was shocked yet again. It looks like the management and HR are clueless about the whole interview process, and they conduct interviews only for fun. A call was scheduled with the CEO to continue the interview process. A day later HR calls me very late in the evening, asking me to 'immediately' share documents from my previous company - referrals, salary slips, etc. I had told them from day one that my previous work was as a freelancer, and the one before that was at a small clinic. Anyone with common sense would know that for such places, one does not receive any formal relieving letters and salary slips. I agreed to share references and bank statements to prove my work background the same evening after much struggle and seeking help from my folks. They act like they are performing some international-level background check. A day later, HR mails me. The mail says: "We will send you an offer letter" (I have a proof for the same). I have not heard from them since then. It looks like again they were playing mind games for entertainment. Hence, I didn't bother contacting them. I have my self-respect to uphold. And, after reading the other people's experiences and reviews, I feel relieved that I was saved from joining an organization with the worst working culture.

Thanks for sharing your detailed feedback. Your interview process was especially unique, since you were selected, we applied for deviation approvals, and before we could roll out the offer letter to you, your family had written a strong negative mail to our founder denoting mismatch in culture from your side, due to which we had to reject you. In fact, even after the first mail, our Founder had politely replied, but the next two mails confirmed that there was a clear mismatch in our culture. We liked your candidature, and were also in the process of rolling out the offer letter. It takes standard time to complete the background checks, and in your case since you didn't have the pay slips and offer letter from previous company, we had also applied for exception approvals to deviate from the HR policy. But even before we could receive the approvals and roll out the offer letter to you, we received some shocking mails from your husband. This was a strong sign of cultural mismatch, and we are happy that we didn't go ahead with it.
