Very informal chat with the team I would actually be working with to see if we would be a good fit together was invaluable, made me feel valued as a person not just a potential colleague

A waste of my time, and apparently theirs.  Each interviewer made it clear from the onset that they had hard stops; then proceeded to fire away with their generic list of impersonal questions (because they had to fit in as many questions as possible in their allotted time). They could barely lift their eyes away from their computers, as they read off the questions from their screens (or doing other work), barely looking at me through my responses.  They mentioned they had been looking for the right fit for a while.  Well, it certainly felt that way, as they gave me the perception I was just another blank candidate. They had made up their minds in advance that they weren't interested.  Just rude, cold and unprofessional.
