Internal people team screening call followed by a fun take home exercise. This was fairly covered some of the technnologies that would be used in the role on a day-to-day basis.
The final part of the process involved an interview with the lead engineer and CTO who went through the technical tasks in the take home and my experiences.

I had my initial call with the in-house recruiter, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. I was even invited to the first stage interview, which I was quite excited about. They asked me to prepare a presentation, which I found to be a great way to showcase my skills.
However, I encountered a rather disappointing situation. Just a day before my scheduled interview, I received a call from HR at 6 pm notifying me that it had been canceled. The reason given was that they preferred someone who lived closer to the business location. It was disheartening because I had clearly applied for the position knowing where the company was based. It felt unprofessional and left me questioning their recruitment process.
