Initially very positive, the recruiters are extremely polite and helpful.
They will provide you with lots of great resources and seem to genuinely want to assist you with doing your best throughout the process.
The initial interview with one of the initial departments was really pleasant as well pretty standard questions in regards to my work experience and had a nice conversation about the company culture.
Fast forward to my final interview that was a panel interview and the first and second interviewers were just entirely rude.
The first interviewer actually raised her voice at me in the middle of answering one of her questions and was extremely condescending when it was my turn to ask her a question about the types of work I would be doing.
The second interviewer was an extremely disinterested man who asked extremely vague questions and even after I answered them would keep asking me to “elaborate further” which is fine I guess but again when it came time for me to ask questions he had no answers for me and couldn’t “elaborate” in greater detail about the training, troubleshooting procedure and workload of the position.
The final interviewer was actually a very nice guy who seemed to be a bit more honest about the fact that the role was not fully fleshed out and therefore some of the questions I had just couldn’t be answered as was an entirely new position.
To be sold on this company primarily due to how it advertises its company culture and DEI initiatives it was disappointing to be met with such coldness and rude behavior from 2 out of 3 interviewers.
I got a call back the next week saying that I didn’t get the role but that there were no critiques of my interview but that they would only be hiring internally for this role which I didn’t know how to feel about.
Why advertise a role for external applicants for you to only last minute decide to make it an internal role?
It all seemed a bit like they wasted my (and other applicants) time which in this economy is honestly just a bit cruel.

2nd interview process, first one lost to internals
This go around I am contacted to interview as they are expanding the role. First red flag change they made is that now they are using AI for part of the interview process. For a CSM role. You can’t deescalate an angry AI that is designed to remain combative.
Then I interview sequentially and honestly not much has changed since the last time.
The interview process is really easy and 2 steps only. Come prepared with questions, and be prepared to share about your experience. They ask straightforward questions as they want to get to know you.
