HR shortlisted my resume and told me that there will be 5 rounds of interview. 1st round was titled as ReactJs and JavaScript round. The interviewer was CTO. They rescheduled my interview twice as CTO was busy. Then at the time of interview, I was asked a basic DSA problem for which I provided a naive solution and he told me to code it up. I also solved the followup question as well in about 35 minutes of call. But the CTO rudely said that the outcome of the discussion is not as per the expectations so there is no point in discussing further and left the meeting in just 35 minutes despite the fact that interview was scheduled for 1 hour. And the HR does not have guts to provide me a proper feedback. Its totally broken hiring system where they take 5 rounds for SDE-1 role at 1.5 years experience and never stick to the topics mentioned before the interview.

I was Interviwed about 1.5month back, first round was with CTO, discussed about 2 sum and 3 sum problems with little bit of innovative changes , felt good as they are looking for an innovative candiate. next round was with some team lead IG , didnt asked any reactjs question but round says it is, and went on with theory questions through out. the problem is didn't ask what exactly he needs, one should ask how would you design before writing code for a problem statement , not what did you do for writing a code. pathetic person to interview for SDE2 frontend role. one will do machine coding round but this man went for frontend intern role with no proper questions. pathetic change your panel.
