Recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn to share the open position. I sent him my resume and we connected via teams to talk more about the details of the job and my experience. He said that he would forward my resume to the hiring manager and circle back with me. The following week, I followed up with him personalizing my email and thanking him for the screening. Two days later, I received generic/automated email rejecting my candidacy. Very disappointed with that. The least he could have done was to respond using a personalized email. You never know when the connection might come in handy.

I applied online, a few days later I was contacted by a recruiter via email to schedule an initial interview (teams meeting) to discuss the position more in-depth. We then scheduled for the following week. We discussed the position, my experience, and organizational needs. Afterwards, I was told my answers would be submitted to the panel and they would reach out to me for a final panel interview. I never heard anything back nor did I receive a standard rejection email. Another one bites the dust with these organizations who ghost candidates!
