Very strange experience. The hiring manager showed up late and seemed uncomfortably shy. She mostly talked (quietly) about how great Zoox was, but then didn’t ask ANY questions about actual design. It didn’t come across like they had competent design leadership in place.

Honestly it just didn't feel personable. This feels more like questioning instead of getting to know potential candidate. Questions are all vague and sounds repeating. Recruiter stated other candidates are already in later stage of interview already. (This just seems like wasting time for candidates in early interview process.) Didn't even go over interview process...
