Sometime around January 2020, I had applied for a Design Internship at Zynga Bangalore and the same day received a call from the HR saying, “You have been selected for the next round, and you need to submit an assignment to move forward in the process.” Naturally, I was quite happy and poured my full into the assignment. But after submitting the assignment back to the HR, there were no further communication at all for the next two months. Not even a confirmation that they have received the assignment. After struggling through two months of denial and anxeity in the abyss of nothingness, I wanted to break it and decided to call Zynga about it. I connected with the respective person and inquired about my application.“I’m sorry, I “forgot” to mail you this. But the position has been filled” he says, “However, there’s a new opening for a Design Intern currently in the company. Let me check and get back to you.” I was hopeful again (dumb me). Then he calls me the next day and asks me for a time to book a slot for the interview. Quite cheerful I am until, he stopped communicating once again. I tried mailing him several times, but in vain. A total waste of time and mental peace. Aarrgh

Interviewed four rounds in total. Made it to final round. Interviewers are very friendly and passionate about their company. HR person did a great follow up too. Didn’t end up going because time doesn’t align.
