Initially scheduled a 15-minute phone screen, which turned into a longer screen/interview hybrid. It was clear the screener didn't understand how to speak to the responsibilities of the role, but had a rigid list of questions to tick off. It would have been a smoother conversation if the person doing the initial screen actually understood the role. When answering/elaborating on answers, I was frequently cut off, and the screener seemed frustrated the entire time.
At the end of the call I was asked if I had any questions, which I did, but then was told it was not the appropriate time for the questions. Overall poor interview experience and not a good first impression. After reading the employee reviews, I'm really glad I wasn't contacted regarding next steps. Additionally, the salary range included in the job description on their website is listed as $73-125k, but I was told it's actually only $80k.
