I interviewed at BP, [Pune, India]
The initial HR round was sub-optimal. I got a call from a very rude HR. The HR spent 20 mins asking my background and in the end when I the expected pay, I was told but the post is for a UI designer. However, the job description clearly mentioned they required a designer who would participate in the end to end process. I would have appreciated if some level of transparency could have been maintained with a clear mention of the budget constraints. I reapplied for another similar role later and was called again by the same HR, the moment I began my introduction, the call was disconnect due to an echo but I never received a second call. I do understand there are some internal practices set by the company and if transparency with a prospective candidate is not considered then I seriously doubt the values being pushed inside. Extremely disappointed.

Interviewers were amazing, but HR is bad. Entire process was way too slow. It took them 1.5 month to take 3 round, and at the end HR mailed me that I have successfully cleared last round, and they will send me next round update in a week. But they never did, I followed up for another 4-5 week, but they ghosted me. Really unprofessional behaviour of HR when a candidate has invested 1.5 month and cleared all the rounds.
