I applied by email and heard back from the operations manager within 2 two days. The interview was then scheduled for the following day at the venue's location. I arrived early, however, the main entrance was locked, and I hadn’t been given any instructions about an alternative way in. After walking around and eventually finding another entrance, I got settled and called the person facilitating the interview, only to be informed they were in a meeting for the next 25 minutes—they had forgotten about our scheduled time. Once they were done, they apologized but continued to take phone calls during my interview and be distracted by responding to messages on their phone. The conversation focused heavily on a position I held six years ago, rather than my recent and more relevant experience. In the end, they said the job I applied for and came to interview for wouldn't be a great fit for me due to its physically demanding nature and that I should consider a serving position instead. Needless to say, I did not take the job.
