A recruiter working at frog contacted me out of the blue asking if I would like to come in for an interview. I hadn't applied, so I assume he found my profile on LinkedIn. I said yes (was curious what it was all about). He then asked what time, I gave him a time and then... radio silence. It's been a few weeks now so I can assume he is not going to invite me for an interview. However, my complaint is this:
- my entire profile is on LinkedIn. Why not read it first and *then* decide if you want to contact me? Not contact me first, and then decide later I am not who you want.
- even if you do not find out about my bg 'till later, is it so hard to send a one line email that states "We've decided to go a different way?" No, it is not. It is courteous to the person you have contacted.
Believe me, I don't care about not going on the interview because I have a great job that I am sure pays more. But jeez, please don't waste my time. It makes your company look really bad and unprofessional. I won't be applying here in the future.

very good people and very kind. questions around sustainability and how you view it were asked. 3 rounds of interviews were taken. it was a tedious process but interactions were very friendly and insightful

The interviewer sounded bossy. Didn’t prepare questions. Seemed not interested in knowing about you. Very disengaged. Worst interview experience ever in my career. I liked the company so I applied but I was very disappointed in the interviews. I wonder if the team’s culture is a concern.
