Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso iFIT (Logan, UT) nel mese di mar 2020
Colloquio
I was sent a HackerRank challenge to complete online within 40 minutes of starting the challenge. About a week after completing the challenge, I received a phone call from the interviewer to schedule an in-person meeting.
The interview seemed to start by asking questions to determine if I would fit into the culture of the company and then evolved to questions with a whiteboard. Near the end, I was given an opportunity to ask questions.

Domanda 1
I was asked to demonstrate on a whiteboard the structure of a personal project I worked on.
It was good. Initial interview, then a take home quiz, and then the final interview. Very casual and comfortable. They make you feel comfortable instead of nervous or worried. Got back quickly too.

Colloquio
The interview process was as others have described - I had to complete the hacker rank challenge that others have mentioned, and then I was emailed a set of questions from their HR team. I answered the questions and the next day they sent an email with a calendar invite for an interview.
They did not ask me for days/times that worked and just said that if this time did not work that I should contact them.
I accepted the interview and met with two developers. It was very conversational and back and forth questions about my experience, what I like to do, etc. I felt that the interview went very well with them saying things like "I like to hear that" or "that's a great answer" to their questions.
Then we had another live coding challenge with these developers. It was a bit intimidating so I was definitely off my game there, but the other developers interviewing were cool and helpful during the coding challenge. I completed the challenge. Out of respect for iFit I will not post the question they asked here, but I will say that if you can complete the hacker rank challenge then you should not have any issue with the live coding challenge - it's about the same difficulty as those questions.
I got an email the following morning after the interview and they said this: "We appreciate you taking the time to apply and consider us for employment. We really enjoyed talking with you and appreciate you taking the time to interview with us.
After reviewing your application and discussing your qualifications, we’ve decided to proceed with another candidate that more closely fits our needs at this time. However, we hope you will consider us again in the future as positions become available."
Which I did not really understand - did they not find me qualified even though I completed all of their challenges? Did they already have an offer out to an existing candidate when they interviewed me and I was being interviewed in case the other candidate did not accept the offer? Do they really want me to apply to future positions because they liked me or do they just say this to everyone?
It left me genuinely perplexed at the situation after what I considered to be an amazing in person interview - both the other developers and myself had moments where we cracked jokes, laughed, said how we really liked each others answers, etc.
So I don't how to feel about this...

Typical questions like "tell us about your past experience", "have you worked with 'xyz' technology?", etc. Out of respect for iFit I will not post their live coding challenge that you have to do during the live interview, though it was on par with the hacker rank challenges. If you can complete those, then you can complete the live interview question.
