The initial interview stages were positive and comfortable. The communication was polite, I received answers to all my questions, and I believe I asked relevant ones in return.
I was assigned a technical task, which was estimated to take 1-2 days to complete. I completed it, and according to the recruiter, the implementation was well done.
However, the process then became delayed. Feedback on the technical task was provided a couple of days late and contained no constructive criticism. After a total of about 3 weeks for the entire process, I was informed that the position had been "put on hold."
Subsequently, I learned that the company continued to send messages to other candidates for this same vacancy. This suggests that the frozen role was not the true reason for the rejection. The actual reason was likely a mismatch in salary expectations or other criteria.
While the interview itself was positive, the process was ultimately let down by the lack of transparent and honest feedback at the final stage.
