I was approached for the role and applied when it became available. After 5 interviews with various stakeholders and the person who approached me, I was ghosted. Given the level of the role and the fact that I was approached for it, combined with the fact that I had a good rapport with the hiring manager, I'm very disappointed not to have at least been contacted about the outcome of the recruitment process.
