The initial scheduling took a month, followed by three reschedules before finally connecting with the recruiter. The phone interview itself felt rushed, focusing mainly on basic qualifications and leaving little room for in-depth discussion about the position or my relevant skills. While I understand not every candidate receives an offer, a lack of follow-up communication was frustrating. Despite requesting feedback after receiving the rejection email, it took multiple attempts and escalating to the management team to receive any response (took recruiter 20 minutes to respond after mangement was tagged in). The response itself was a generic template, not specific to my interview.
Providing clear communication and timely feedback throughout the interview process allows both companies and candidates to have a positive experience. More in-depth interview discussions and constructive feedback for unsuccessful applicants would be valuable additions to Lululemons interview process. I will be sure to let my friends know to not bother applying to Lululemon.
