Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso lululemon

      Colloquio

Worst design recruiter I've encountered in my 13 years in the fashion industry. Rude, with poor communication and follow-up. The process was average: interview after interview, and then, ghosted. No explanation, no feedback—nothing. It’s fine, I understand it's part of the process to not get the role, but just tell people! Its not hard to draft a rejection email, takes 60 seconds. Connection and putting people first—one of Lululemon's core values. Given how I've been treated, I'd be hard-pressed to ever want to apply for another role there in the future. If you have the misfortune of dealing with this recruiter, prepare to be frustrated.

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 6 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso lululemon (Vancouver, BC) nel mese di ott 2019

      Colloquio

I was contacted by a recruiter and went through a series of interviews over a month. I would have a Zoom interview, wait a day or so, then have another one. After each one I kept saying to myself "surely this is the last one". This went on and on for a total of 8(!) interviews. They had me even interviewing with external contractors! In addition to 8 interviews I also had to do a test project. In the end I was not given the role because I did not have enough "years" of experience in this specific product type. BUT this was all very clear in my resume. If I had known after a month, a test project and 8 interviews that I would be turned down based on something that was clear in my resume, I would not have gone through the process. And this role was posted over 9 months ago. THIS SAME EXACT ROLE has been posted every 2 weeks since then. My feeling is, they are using young designers to get free ideas. That's at least a handful of test projects every couple of weeks. Why hire a new designer when you can crowd source free work from many designers...? I also know that the pay notoriously low so even had they offered me the job they likely would not have paid me enough to actually accept it.
