Had an interview with HR, which was rather unprofessional. Then another with the hiring manager. I was 1 of only 3 selected to next round. The final interview consisted of presenting a Tableau project to the team based off company scrubbed data. After working on the dashboard and subsequent PowerPoint for hours over the weekend I presented to the team. I was notified afterward via email that they realized that they needed more than a Tableau analyst and more of a data analyst. And that was that. Assigning unpaid projects is one thing. To make me go through the entire inflated process just to drop the position entirely is an utter disrespect of my time. Furthermore I have an MBA in Data Analysis, so I was great potential fit regardless. Company seems disorganized and disrespectful based off my experience. Which is a shame because I was really intrigued and impressed by the work the company is doing.
