      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso the LEGO Group (Boston, MA) nel mese di giu 2026

      Colloquio

Tough to say this but I am a bit disillusioned with LEGO after a recent interview process. The application process actually started in February 2026, and then resumes sat in their system, active, until May. At which time they were removed. When this happened, they were actually very open about the fact that the position was in flux internally, which was nice—this stuff happens, no harm, no foul. However, I was then immediately reached out to directly by a LEGO recuiter, outside of their HR portal, about my skillset being a good fit/getting noticed. Naturally, this is LEGO we're talking about, so I eagerly expressed my interest and gave times/availability for an initial interview, as I was instructed to do by the internal recruiter. Then, more waiting. During this time, the position was officially posted again, I re-applied, and waited some more. I then received that "it's a yes from LEGO" email you may know if you're applied and got through the first part of the process. When the initial interview with the recruiter finally did occur, it was revealed that the posted salary range was, in fact, the "potential" for growth, and that the position was no where near what the advertised range actually was, nor was the skillest, which was described to me as "mid-level." This was not made clear in the "manager level" job posting. I was also given the impression that my experience and expected level of compensation, as an ACD-level candidate, was not clearly undersood, which was disappointing given it is easy to find the average range of compensation for ACDs in the Boston area. Three weeks after that initial interview, I received the standard rejection email about moving forward with other candidates. In the end, I'm honestly not sure why I was reached out to and asked to re-apply for this role.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

Standard questions I'd expect to hear at any initial interview at any company, which was again soomewhat disappinting. For example, there was one about creatively working through an unexpected challenge.
