Extremely time-consuming interview process with a disappointing outcome.
I went through multiple interview rounds, completed a detailed case study, and presented it to a larger panel. The overall process required a significant investment of time and preparation.
The frustrating part is that the final reason for rejection was a lack of team leadership experience. This was clearly visible on my CV from the very beginning of the process and could have been assessed before asking a candidate to spend many hours preparing and presenting a case study.
The interviews themselves were professional, and the team was pleasant to speak with. However, waiting for feedback after the final presentation and then being rejected for a criterion that was known from the outset left me questioning how effectively candidates are being screened early in the process.
I respect the company's decision to hire someone with stronger people-management experience for a Global Head role. However, I believe the process could be improved by validating critical requirements earlier and being more mindful of the significant time commitment expected from candidates.
