1st Interview - Phone - Company Recruiter sets up a call to discuss the job details, the company description and they will measure the candidate if they are indeed the right match for the position. My phone interview was over an hr long and it was very detailed. After 2 days, I was scheduled for an on-site interview with the dept. manager The on-site interview was HORRIBLE. The manager was 15 min late. He did not have a designated room allocated for the interview. While walking into the building, he goes "I guess this room will do". He just basically went over my resume. Nothing related to the job position was discussed. He never went over, offered to explain or show any of the products the company was involved in or what my position would be involved with. In the middle of the interview, about 4 people walked into the room and walked back out. As I said, the manager had NEVER reserved the room for an interview. About 3/4 into the interview, the manager goes "we have 8 min left, they are having a meeting in here". We never truly finished the interview, I never had the chance to ask him any questions and we never went over the actual nature of the job. At the end he never walked me out, or never mentioned, Thank you and we will be in touch. This was the WORST interview I've had with upper management. I do not recommend interviewing with the GM at ThyssenKrupp in Ft Worth.
