Largo, FL. The position was contract role with a $18/hr pay rate. The interview was rather long. I was interviewed by 3 separate managers. One was very general, one was very technical (hiring manager), and the last was just friendly. The last interviewer took me on a tour of the factory where she explained the various stations where they service hospital equipment.
Details: the hiring manager described the position as a person who spearheads all validation activities, start to finish, for the particular division. Responsibilities from planning, implementing, review, and sustaining validation activities that required high level decision making. I was rather floored at this. The work load and experience required for the position described was far and away beyond that of a 'Validation Technician', and in my opinion, at a minimum, required a Engineer II. I felt I was qualified for the position but the fact they were only offering the title of Associate and $18/hr, I was offended. Imminently after the interview I called the recruiter that had set up the interview and told her to remove me from consideration.
