Svantaggi
- Overtime is not officially recognized nor paid, but implicitly necessary to complete tasks. - Stipend levels are below market median and kept barely above average. - Career Promotion is not fair: you need to overdeliver for more than six months to deserve a promotion, but then the process is often delayed. Heavily coach-dependent. Many colleagues feel stuck at their level for longer than deserved. - Non-transparent annual salary review, increase are not recognized to everybody. - Uncontrolled growth: heavy hiring has diluted the company culture, and hired middle and senior engineers who are not contributing as much as they are paid for. - Inexistent People Retention: a good chunk of the best historical Agilers have left the company, and none were offered a counter-proposal or promotions as deserved. - Management is overly focused on delivery, not quality or leadership. - Increasing reliance on body-rental contract types on the consultancy side. - Reduced clarity of circle funtions: with a recente re-org Business Units and delivery units have chosen random names to address themselves, departing from the description of their function/client type. - Circles behave as Silos: it's hard to contribute to the company product, there is no clarity on how to shift projects (even though there is an ongoing effort to improve) - always on the side of clients, even in the face of toxic behaviours or unfeasible deadlines. - Manipulative hiring: you apply for level x, they give you a fantastic proposal at the maximum wage of level x-1, with an unfeasible perspective of a six-month promotion.
