- Upper Management is a disaster. They are not skilled and do not have experience - Most upper management is personal friend of the founders, that are blind to their biases - If you are not at least middle manager your opinion is not listen to. Ever - Even if you have a record and proof of your professional value, the opinion of the friends of the managers will count more than yours, even if they do not work at Infarm - There is no transparency, no open dialogue and people are silenced when they expressed opinions that do not align with the upper management idea of their company - People are stuck in their position; it is very difficult to be promoted and usually higher position are given to people coming externally that are former co-worker or friends of the managers, without interviews, and sometimes, if the interview happens and the person fails it, they are hired anyway. So much for spending time on it and giving opinions - HR department is unhelpful and uses witch hunt as strategy, instead of helping or trying to identify problems - Departments fight and use professionals as scapegoats the moment something is wrong - There is a macho culture extremely strong in the upper management, and constantly women are ignored compared to males colleagues in meetings and for decisions - Since I left almost other 20 people left, for the same reasons It is crazy how a nice place can become horrible so fast when the management is bad
