Vantaggi

I’ve been at 1Password for a year now and I will say that this is the best place I’ve worked at in my career so far. My team and leadership are so supportive and they’ve helped me grow so much within my role. The company is WFH based, ample time off, provides a day off each quarter on top of our holidays for us to disconnect and will sometimes provide us with gift cards to get treats like donuts and coffee! There so much more about 1Password that I love but all in all, I can see myself being here for some time

Svantaggi

I don’t have any cons at the moment

Vantaggi

- Awesome founders when they were involved in the day-to-day - Great benefits

Svantaggi

- Lost a lot of what made this place special during the scale up from 100-1000 employees - Hired a ton of outside leadership which ultimately resulted in a culture shift and many of the people who worked there the longest leaving

Vantaggi

* Flexible working arrangements and quite a bit of autonomy. * A genuinely supportive manager and a collaborative, positive team environment. * Competitive pay for the role and responsibilities.

Svantaggi

In recent years the company has shifted in a direction that feels very different from the organisation I originally joined. * There is a strong emphasis on a “high performance culture”, but there is limited structure or support in place to help employees develop the skills needed to meet those expectations. * Career progression and compensation increases can feel closely tied to visibility rather than the quality or impact of the work itself. * The company is moving away from its fully remote approach. In-person events that were once optional are now mandatory, even for teams that may not directly benefit from them. The locations chosen do not always appear to consider the needs or circumstances of a globally distributed workforce, and employees are now required to go through formal accommodation processes simply to avoid international travel due to health or safety concerns.
