Facilities are very old and poorly maintained. That while reported consistently get ignored. Little investment in the facilities. A good example of this was the leaking roofs. The hanger roofs leak. Where stores put parts on racks water was pooring down onto the parts, instead of fixing the roof they just put a cover over the racks?
Never worked in a hanger with “pot holes”!
Staff turn over is high, I had 3 different bosses over 3 years which made consistently difficult. They drove the one of my bosses to constant breakdowns and tears. It’s unbelievable how they were treated.
Health and safety standards are ignored or brushed off, maintenance practices often cut corners. It’s a cliquey culture (if your face fits kinda deal) bullying culture. Shift managers are snakes. Being thrown under the bus to protect them selfs is very common.
