Vantaggi
Good mix of consumer brand clients in various verticals - Boston isn't exactly known as the hub of consumer PR so it's nice to work on brands that people don't go "huh??" when you mention them in conversation. Early in my career it was a great opportunity to get exposed to different facets of PR and most people will really let you try whatever you want to try if you put in the effort. Good culture (if you fit their mold)
Svantaggi
I interned for 360PR many years ago as my first "job" out of college. I worked as hard as I could for a year and tried to make an impression but after a year I poked the bear a few too many times on asking when I would become a "real hire" - you know...with benefits. Eventually I gave them the ultimatum and went with a hire me or I quit mentality. I didn't get hired. And that's the story of career progression at 360PR. It's such a small agency that upward mobility is limited. In the 6+ years or so since I left the agency I've held a number of positions, been promoted, changes job fields etc. and yet I see co-workers I worked alongside in 2012 in similar positions or maybe a role above what they were when I left. In an industry where promotions are like clockwork it doesn't seem very promising. The only other con I found is that it's quiet cliquey (natural at smaller agencies) in a "we're a family" way so if you don't want to play that game you can be ostracized.
