You are nurtured properly through the induction process when you first start. The leadership team include you in upcoming changes and do take on board ideas and suggestion.

Too many good ideas means nothing EVER gets finished in a timely manner. Too much chopping and changing the development process means many project never see the light of day. Management, particularly the Aus CEO, is a good person but lacks business acumen leaving his team paddling without solid direction and focus. Unfortunately the emphasis on $$$$ has meant the entire culture of the company has changed. It started out with a focus of wanting to build strong relationships with schools and this has gone. If there is no monetary attachment to the outcome - it doesn't happen.
