Field researchers MUST be available (unpaid) one week every month if a researcher doesn't show up. To be "on-call" means that 3x3 only pays you if you replace another person who couldn't make it, but you don't get compensated while being on-call. There is low compensation ($22 hourly) and no budget for fieldwork expenses, such as transportation or drinking water. This was supposed to be a part-time job, but 3x3 sent us to remote locations 2 hours away from our places, which turned into a 4-hour commute. (You won't get paid for the 4 commute hours).
