Terrible place too work - Recensione dipendente - Field Operations Patroller presso 407 ETR

The 407 etr is a terrible place to work as highway patroller allegedly VERY HIGH TURN OVER RATE! First off the micro management they will call you very often to see what you are up and have you moving nonstop for the 12 hour shift. Allegedly They have live cameras with microphones inside and outside the truck that watches you the entire time you are in or outside the truck. allegedly They also have GPS that tracks the truck and company phone they give you. That’s just the start of this terrible and hostile work environment. Here are some other obstacles about this job they don’t tell you before you consider applying. -The majority of the shift you will picking up dead animals including raccoons, skunk, coyotes, foxes, geese and deer with just a shovel and garbage bag -in the warmer season YOU MAY GET BITTEN BY TICS! They will have you working in the fields at the side of the highway where tics harvest and may have Lyme disease! -Very small compensation for so much work!! You maintain the entire highway doing things such as maintenance, clean debris and fixing A LOT of sign and drains -Rotating 12 hour shift two weeks nights two weeks days -allegedly Cameras watch you from the control the two full time employees watch cameras and report everything you do to management they do not have the decency to tell you if you’re doing something wrong they throw you under the bus. The manger has no clue what he doing he just listen to other employee and doesn’t investigate nothing. It seems he rather fill that tummy and play with his toy rocket ship also. There are also three supervisors one is at retirement age and just talks way too much about nothing. The other a very short tiny person . He is the most dangerous person there! allegedly No one likes to work with him and he makes very slick and sarcastic comments! He allegedly setups employee to fail on purpose its wild! All in all this place is trash I hope one day the owner fire the management and bring in real professionals.
