A few months ago I had proposed a project to my supervisor to streamline a few of our processes, and after discussing the steps, what my goal was, and how it would help the company, he gave me the go-ahead to put them into action. The plan wasn't as smooth as I had hoped in the beginning, but together with my supervisor, we were able to create the solutions needed. The pro here, is that after I was able to create an actionable plan, discuss each step of the plan and vision with my supervisor, he gave me the ok to build it out. What I'm excited about is my supervisor met with me for lunch today and gave me a promotion and a raise!! I wasn't expecting it AT ALL, I just wanted to put some ideas I had into action and I was given the opportunity to do so, and it not only helped the company, but it (inadvertently) helped me too. I'm really proud of my work, and even more grateful the company I work for honors that.

None I can really think of. The company takes us out for happy hour, we do birthdays, holiday parties, summer Fridays, office retreats, and the office where I work, in Las Vegas, is really chill.

In the 2+ years I have been at 87AM, we have transformed ourselves several times, and we are now in a very strong place as a digital agency. These transformations have occurred visibly in the physical office environment we inhabit, as we have now outgrown 2 offices in my tenure and are comfortably enjoying the 3rd. Our office creates a collaborative and inspiring environment and is also able to adapt as we continue to grow in size. The team here is passionate, dedicated and expert-level in the digital space and is poised for continued expansion in the future. The leadership echoes those same qualities, but also looks after the staff to ensure happiness, fulfillment and career success. We are a group of self-starters who enjoy the fast and furious pace of digital agency life and wouldn't have it any other way.

The amount of growth 87AM has seen has been massive, and as such, certain things get compromised in order to stay nimble as a business. We are now so much stronger as a result of these changes, but a few things became extra challenging in the short-term, including training/onboarding, organizational structure, setting up process and truly enforcing office culture. Those challenges are now big focuses of the agency, so they will continue to improve as we move forward into our bright future.
