Decent hours (no nights, off weekends), great insurance, in-services were informative and helpful, some kids were great to teach and play with every day, and decent time off and a few coworkers (DEFINITELY NOT everyone though- go more into detail about this later) and teachers were great to work with.

The bad things about this place are doozies! Some kids were aggressive, leaving staff in unsafe, almost life-threatening, situations, often on your own. Some co-workers were very difficult to deal with personality wise and ESPECIALLY the senior team. They are VERY nitpicky and will look for EVERY excuse to get rid of you. They are not on your side AT ALL. Beware of the wolves in sheep's clothing here. You will be micromanaged, feel unsupported, and especially unhappy coming to work, which is not good when working with kids, they can and will pick up on that. I am not wasting my time asking anyone for a reference from here and looking forward to be able to take this very bad experience off my CV. I would have much rather have been in jail than waste the time I have spent working here. There are also no real opportunities for growth or advancement either at this place. I am not the first person they screwed over this year either- many good co-workers from this place were unfairly treated, let go, or quit for similar situations that I was in. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY HERE! MAYBE this place is better if you are someone they've decided to play a favorite towards. If you are a current or former employee, I feel extremely sorry for you and you have my pity. YOUR EMPLOYEES AND YOUR KIDS DESERVE BETTER!! Please beware and RUN FAR AWAY from this school.

• Pay is very fair for a Private School. (Let's be real education is an underpaid field) • The kids are challenging but rewarding • Most of the staff cares so much. • There are supportive administrators.

• Dealing with behaviors can be tricky • Low Paid Time off allotment as with most education jobs.

Limited accountability for leadership behavior, which contributes to a culture where employees may feel unsafe speaking up. High emotional labor without adequate structural or managerial support. A reactive rather than proactive approach to employee relations and compliance. While the organization states it values equity and respect, follow-through is inconsistent. Compensation practices lack transparency, and there are perceived inequities in pay and treatment that undermine trust. DEI efforts feel narrow in scope, with some employees experiencing exclusion rather than inclusion. Responses to employee concerns appear inconsistent, creating the perception that outcomes depend on relationships or identity rather than policy. Reports of inappropriate or offensive language have not always been addressed in a timely or meaningful way. Overall, there is a perception of systemic bias and a lack of openness that makes it difficult for employees to feel safe, valued, or heard.
