Vantaggi

None that I could see at all

Svantaggi

I experienced everything bad written here on Glassdoor, especially the bullying. And they have to know what’s going on but they don’t care. Someone here said if you can keep your head down and ignore what you see, you can work there. I agree. AARP doesn’t seem to hire employees on their own. They use staffing agencies and temporary contractors. Then if the temps can stand the culture, they get hired permanently. But remember, staffing agencies get paid by AARP so they don’t really care about you, the employee. That’s what happened to me. I was told by this recruiter how great AARP is, but it’s not. In fact, it’s far from it. Check them out before you accept a position and don't waste your time.

Vantaggi

I was able to take on multiple responsibilities, like research and volunteer engagement, with consideration of my time and workload from school.

Svantaggi

At times, I felt like my work wasn’t as important or could’ve been done by my supervisors, especially when projects were close to completion, they would be altered but I understand it was for time efficiency.
