It seems they like to lay off people based on business cycles. I know one colleague who was laid off a few years ago and then came back 2 years later. Now the group is looking at another round of layoff.
Management also love to adhere to old standards from half a century ago. This speaks the lack of awareness on the industry in general.
Inconsistent standards on output. This has created so much confusion among the staff.
Lack of career ladder.
