The money will continue to flow, despite the issues with middle management. Your job security is strong here. Strong enough to allow complacency.

Middle management runs on ego, not competence. New middle management picked based on connection, not capability. HR won't do due diligence on grievance requests. You have been warned. HR is a risk for this company. Incompetence to the point of negligence. HR Leadership has voluntarily left or been railroaded out. Only work here if you are comfortable with 2% increases on whatever base is provided to you, for ten years. This is from information I received from those in the position a decade prior to me. I came into the role at the #3 highest paid employee for the position, with #1 & #2 being a decade tenured.
