The schedule is fairly flexible.

Benefits used to be a little better, but they’re still not that bad.

Decent pay, they catered lunch sometimes, it was hard to get fired.

Management allowed for crass locker room talk and racism. There didn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to promotions or pay raises. Some people got 'promoted' without a raise, and some people never move upwards and get consistent raises (so long as theyre a higher up's kid or play golf with the boss on the weekends). You certainly don't need any sort of formal education to work here, even in chemist or PM roles. Someone with a highschool education who's best friends with the boss will pass you up regardless.
