This is an company made up of 40-50 individuals who rarely see each other because the contracts are spread across the federal government. Communication is a number one priority of the company. Patrick Niehus, the founder and President treats each employee as if he/she was the only one. He runs a completely "inverted T" organization where everyone's suggestions/critiques are valued. He works hard to ensure efficiency in overhead to put more of the contract profits into the hands of employees. I have worked for several companies. Nature of the beast. We don't regularly get a chance to interact with each other. This being said, Patrick prioritizes the creation of two opportunities each year to get folks together for fun and team building. He and his wife are always thinking of innovative ways to create a fun background for our events.
