Seems that they like to stir things up with no real plan in place. My job was moved over to India where they were able to hire someone else at slave wages. Come to find out not only did they have to move my job back to the states, they did so by hiring 3 contracters to do so. Since they don't have to provide benefits for contractors this saves the company money. These kinds of reorgs (where they send jobs overseas or just get rid of them, then have to rehire) happen all the time.
