Vantaggi
- Colleagues: the majority of my co-workers are fantastic people and highly competent. Frankly, they could do much better than Agio.
Svantaggi
I’ve worked at Agio for some time and the difference between when I first joined and today is very stark. - Weak Leadership and Toxic Culture: Upper management try to portray every major shortcoming as positive, this gives the impression that they are completely out of touch. The company simply doesn’t practice what they preach; #speakup is nonsense if you ignore the feedback from employees. When staff voice legitimate concerns they’re dismissed because upper management are over reliant on analytics, that don’t reflect the reality of the situation for ground level workers. - Understaffing and Poor Employee Retention: Again, management try to paint this in a positive light, suggesting it’s an expected trend due to the pandemic, or that the employees who are leaving are doing so because they were ‘low performers’ or they ‘didn’t understand the requirements of their role’. However staff at the ground level can see this is not that case and that many excellent colleagues are leaving under circumstances that are entirely preventable. - Lack of internal opportunities - Weak benefits by UK/EU standards - Unresponsive HR team - Empty promises - Uncompetitive salaries - Poor work-life balance I could go on but others have already said it.
