Management allowed too many chiefs not enough Indians type of work place. Therefore, everyone that worked there basically got away with anything and just received a slap on the wrist, if even that. Was told in my interview they did annual raises, never seen one.

This company operates as a good ole boy business with outdated business practices that leaves this company's business stagnant. I was laid off so they could hire an executive's wife. This business did not provide training on their business and industry upon hiring and when I asked for data sheets for their services, I was told that it would take them a year to get that to me because no one had the time to create them. They wanted me to sit away from my desk and computer to go listen to the techs conversations with clients in order to find out what they do. was told to google what they do as the primary source of training. After working for them for a few months it didn't take long to realize this was a high stress, the sky is falling every day of every week kind of work environment and no one had time to think about the actual business strategy. I went to work immediately in a very measured and logistical manner, fixing lists, cold calling for prospects, cleaning up their CRM, finding a huge problem with their website, updated content on their website, updated collateral sheets in order to work up to building meaningful email marketing campaigns. They continually tied my hands on my projects. They would work up events and then tell me about them too late to properly promote them most of the time. There is a lot of secret meetings that go on and virtually no transparency exists between leadership and employees. When I interviewed they told me I would be reporting to the sales person and getting to be involved with her in the community and events and after I was hired, I was told I reported to an executive who had no time to advise and train me. I feel like I aged 20 years from the 8 months I worked there. Avoid this place at all costs.
