1yAll feedback is welcome. We use an outside vendor for our annual Employee Engagement Survey to ensure anonymity. In 2024 we provided staff a handout of how survey data is collected and how that information is anonymized and provided back to management, With those aggregated findings then reported back to all staff during our every other week all-company meeting.
We encourage employees to gain deeper insight into the insurance industry and support this insight by covering the cost for certifications, continuing education and recognition within the Insurance Industry (i.e. Emerging Leaders awards). We are proud to have received multiple awards over numerous years as an “employer of choice”, recognizing ALPS as having a great culture. We take pride when we are nominated for awards directly by staff.
As of 2023 we implemented in-house focus groups where aspects of our business are reviewed and improvements suggested by the employees who voluntarily offer to participate in the improvement review process. These focus groups have been led by non-management employees.
We continue (2024) to be a small company with a flat organizational chart where everyone has a voice and can make an impact.
