If you are looking for experience it is a good environment to learn a wide range of analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, IR, wet chemistry). The location of the building is ideal because it is near to the train station. The carrer progresion was fairly good because the people normally get a promotion after medium-long periods of time, but the salary increase was not all the time according with the new position and responsabilities. The job itself give you more organization skills and you will learn to manage your time.

Most of the laboratory cleaning must be perform by the scientific analyst and assistants, but the time provided to perform the duties is very short. The company doesn´t pay the overtime all the time. My contract was 38h per week but you normally worked more than that. There is a lot of pressure to get the things done on a short period of time even when sometimes the managers know it is impossible. Most of the instruments are old, however it is fair to say that the company was renewing instruments when I resigned my contract.
