You are expected to work long hours until midnight even on weekends if you are involved in projects. -Office politics, no matter how good you are in doing your jobs you need to be politically aware who to please. -Overtime for projects are not paid only on daily tasks if needed to work extra hours. -Workload is very heavy, yet they are having layoffs and terminating team members despite good performance of company. You’ll feel like there’s no job security if you see what type of people they are terminating - High turnover rate, it will be just another resignation and hiring process. It disturbs team dynamics and focus. - Generational gap, they will be less understanding towards newer generations needs and expect everyone to adapt to company culture - Will mostly communicate in mandarin language eventhough in meetings set up. - Generally, feel less like MNC
