      There is good local employee comradery.

      The corporate management of Ametek is unfortunately extremely cut-throat and vicious. The branched I worked at had once been a small company and was bought out by Ametek. The environment of the company changed in a negative way almost immediately once the company was bought.

      Compensation is not competitive with the current manufacturing market. Limited career growth and advancement opportunities for technicians. Skilled employees often need outside offers to receive meaningful pay adjustments. Random drug testing policy may be a drawback for some candidates.
