It can be frustrating when you see so many deficiencies and areas that need improvement but no budget or resources to do so. There is no lack of cash available though and projects that have a 1.5 year payback or better are easily funded. Management is willing to invest in new product development as well. Also, turnover is relatively high and management does not hesitate to make layoffs if businesses have a prolonged period of slowdown.
